This illustration was created as part of a personal fantasy world

The idea behind the image is simple: even in difficult places, warmth and hope can still exist when they are shared with others.

I especially enjoyed working on the contrast between the soft firelight and the surrounding shadows, as well as designing the personalities and shapes of each creature to make them feel gentle, curious, and alive.
